Ghee Uses
🧈 Digestive Elixir
Ghee (Known as Nei in Tamil), is revered in
Ayurveda and Siddha for enhancing digestive power (Agni). It lubricates and soothes the
digestive tract, supports healthy gut flora, and helps absorb nutrients more efficiently.
✨ Deep Nourisher and Energy Booster
Ghee is a concentrated source of healthy
fats and vital energy (Ojas). It revitalizes the body, supports stamina, and restores depleted
strength. It nourishes tissues (Dhatus) and promotes overall vitality.
🛡️ Immunity and Healing Promoter
Rich in antioxidants and fat-soluble
vitamins (A, D, E, K), ghee enhances immunity and helps the body recover from illness.
🗣️ Respiratory Soother
Ghee acts as a natural demulcent for the throat and
lungs. It is used in ayurvedic remedies for dry cough, sore throat, and hoarseness.
🧠 Brain and Mind Tonic
Ghee is a prized “Medhya Rasayana” (brain tonic). It
sharpens memory, supports mental clarity, and calms emotional stress.
